Two events in BOSTON.

The first, on Tuesday 12/17, is a conversation with Tiffani Faison of Sweet Cheeks BBQ, Tiger Mama, Fool’s Errand and Orfano Irene Li of Mei Mei at More Than Words, a nonprofit organization-cum-bookstore.  We’ll be talking about how to succeed as a chef and restaurateur, what it’s like to do those things, how it could be better, things we love, things we hate… wherever the wind blows us, really. The second, on Wednesday 12/18, is a TOAST(!) at SOFRA Bakery(!) We will toast women in food (and “Women on Food”) with Ana Sortun and Maura Kilpatrick and we will eat toasts both savory and sweet, because nothing’s better than toast and everything tastes better on it.
